Cheese Pie
Not just cheesy, but also tasty, considered as MSUan’s pambansang food trip- CHEESE PIE! As a student of a globally competitive university, we are trained to endure the pressure and stress and survive all the challenges we may face. But of course, we also consider ourselves as humans. We also need to take a break from those stressful hours and sleepless nights. And this finger food is on the rescue. It will not only make you forget about your stressful days, but it will also satisfy your tummy. I’ll just share my experience the first time I tried this snack. The day I entered MSU, this snack was the talk of the campus. I wasn’t expecting anything big from this snack because it does not come from a 5 star hotel or a luxurious restaurant but just a random street food sold in the busy street of Centro. But when I decided to try this snack with my friends, I was shocked because it feels like its stall was a ticket booth of a blockbuster movie. Everyone was so desperate to have this snack. After a long time of waiting and shouting, we were able to purchase one. I was amazed at that time because there are a variety of sauces which you can mix depending on your taste buds. When I took one bite, it changed my mindset that even cheap foods could give you satisfaction. The hot dough filled with melting cheese combined with your desired sauce is such a HEAVEN. For an affordable price, which is P20.00, you won’t just feel the heavenly taste of the snack but it will also help you save money. Not unless you’ll buy another serve and spend another P20 for it because, for me, I am willing to purchase another one because it is so addicting! Walking the long road from Siklab to Centro is so tiring. But when with friends, it feels like the road is so short and the time is so fast. Even if its tiring sometimes, Centro’s Cheese Pie is a great choice of snack you and your friends could have while bonding and relaxing. Cheese Pie isn’t just a snack that could fulfill your hunger but also a snack that brings and builds memories with your special companions. Not just cheesy, but also tasty, considered as MSUan’s pambansang food trip- CHEESE PIE!
